Married life doesn’t have to be serious all the time. Fun, laughter and enjoying each other’s company are some of the best parts of marriage. Sadly, they are usually the first to go when hard times hit because it is really hard to think about fun activities for couples when you are stressed.

Funny enough, fun and laughter are exactly what you need when you are going through difficult times. They take your mind off your troubles and give you that extra boost of energy that you need to face life’s challenges head on.

Have Fun in Marriage

Laugh – One of the first things many people look for in a marriage partner is a similar sense of humor. Why? Because no one wants to live life without laughter.

Poking fun at each other can bring laughter into your marriage. As long as you avoid sensitive topics such as weight and family, you should be fine.

Sharing things that you find funny with each other can also bring laughter into your marriage. So, the next time you read a funny comic strip or watch a funny video on the internet, show it your partner.

Play – You don’t need special games for couples to have fun with your spouse. Even seemingly childish games such water tag can bring a lot of fun into the marriage. However, if you prefer much more serious games, there are many board games and video games for couples.

Dress- Up – Dressing up in costumes can be a lot of fun but too many people knock it before they try it.  My advice, try some couple dress up games before you decide.

Go to your local costume shop together and pick out something fun. If you are not too sure about this dressing up thing, rent the costumes, don’t buy them.

There is a lot of fun to be had in a costume. Depending on how adventurous you are feeling, you can try role playing or simply have dinner in your costumes.

Go to Carnival or Festival – The best thing about going to a carnival is that you don’t have to come up with your own fun activities for couples. All you have to do is show up and take your pick of the food, games and ride. Also, many communities hold several carnivals and festivals throughout the year so you never have to worry about not having something to do.
