Sex. We don’t talk about it much but maybe we should. 

Truth is, healthy and happy marriages usually include frequent sex. However, sex is a byproduct of a healthy relationship rather than a cure for a bad marriage.

It’s difficult to make love when things aren’t right between the two of you.

So if the physical side of your relationship has been, well, a little too dull, or non-existent, and 
emotional intimacy is lacking, then why not take these next few days to turn things around?

Here are ten quick tips to rekindle the flame:

  1. Be affectionate for affection’s sake 
  2. Be helpful – make life easier for your spouse
  3. Be forgiving
  4. Be kind, caring, warm, loving and courteous
  5. Be respectful
  6. Be appreciative
  7. Be safe = don’t criticize your spouse
  8. Be on your spouse’s side = their advocate
  9. Be sensual 
  10. Be willing & available!

Well…it’s a bit more complicated than that. But if that’s the case then consider this: 
Having sex improves the immune system, strengthens muscles, improves posture, and
promotes weight loss.

(If I counted right, then that’s at least four more reasons to have sex this week.)

God created sex to be something beautiful that is shared between a husband and his wife.

So if life has been keeping you busy and worn out, and the sensual side of your marriage has suffered because of it, then decide to take charge and change things this week.

Sexual intimacy is a vital element to any good marriage, and something you deserve
to enjoy often with your soul mate.
