Photo albums are great for organizing photos of fun times and special moments and making them more accessible. Types of Photo Albums

There are various kinds of photo albums including:

• Online photo albums which can be created by uploading and editing photos online. Most online photo album makers provide several layouts, cover designs and colors for users to choose from. The best part is that you can print the finished product. Although, the printing can be done at home, print shops almost always offer better quality.

• Homemade photo albums also known as scrapbooks are also great for organizing romantic photos. If you would like to get your photos out of the boxes they currently living in but don’t want a stranger handling your photos, try scrapbooking. Homemade albums are unique and have a personal touch.

• Coffee table photo books are intended for entertaining guests. They come in different sizes but large hard-cover albums are favored for their durability.

• Flush mount photo albums often have leather or glass covers. They are designed in a magazine style with unbending pages and are more expensive to produce. They are however great for special occasions.

• Montage albums are designed in magazine style and look a lot like fashion magazines. They, however, can be designed on a home computer.

• Storybook albums are designed to tell a story. The photos are arranged in a specific sequence such as from the beginning of an occasion to the end and sometimes include narrative text.

• Matted albums are made from digitally or manually mounted photo frames.  

Scrap booking guide

Scrapbooking is a favorite past time for many people. It is fun and the end result is always lovely as it includes the maker’s ideas, thoughts and feelings.

The first thing you will need is a journal or a book with a leather cover. Although a simple note book will do too, it may not be as durable.

Once you have picked a book, decorate it with photos or graphics of your choice by gluing them onto the cover. If you are making a scrapbook of your happy marriage, use a photo of you and your spouse on the cover.

Now you can begin working on the inside of the scrapbook. Place photos on every page of the book and write your feelings and thoughts about the photos on the pages. It’s best to start the scrapbook with photos that will bring you good memories. In addition, to the photos, you can creatively add plane tickets, restaurant bills, glitter and pretty much anything that brings back good memories!
